nAlmost 6,600 sport horses worth more than €26m were exported out of Ireland last year.
nThere are 11,900 equine classes held at national country shows each year, helping to attract more than 270,000 spectators.
nOver €135m was spent in the competition sector last year, while €119m was spent in the leisure sector.
