sport horse Auction sale

Equine Elite Ireland, set up by showjumper Seamus Hayes and business adviser Maria Costello, is to host the first auction of European-bred Sport Horses in Ireland next month.

The Equine Warehouse.ie Horses For the Future sale will take place at Kilconnell Stud in Fethard, Co Tipperary, on Friday, December 9.

Equine Elite, together with Paul Hendrix and Bert Oetelaar, two world renowned breeders, producers and sellers of international horses, has selected 25 top-quality European sport horses imported for the sale.

The chosen horses include 15 three-year-old showjumpers and 10 impeccably bred mares in foal to world class stallions.

Viewing of the horses will start at 2pm, with the auction at 5pm.

Video footage, breeding details and veterinary reports, including X-rays of each horse, can be seen at www.equineelite ireland.com and www.irishsport.tv.

DVDs and catalogues are also available from Maria Costello on 086 021 0137.
