Set on the historic Hill of Skryne overlooking the Hill of Tara and Skryne Valley, an 81ac residential farm is set to be sold on April 27.

Currently all under grass, the Co Meathfarm is laid out in five divisions, with a farm roadway providing easy access to the entire holding.

Auctioneer John Harrington describes the farm as good grazing land, with a range of outbuildings, which include a cow byre, lofted shed, four-bay hay shed with double lean-to and several out-offices.

There are no Single Farm Payment entitlements included in the sale.

The residence is a two-storey farmhouse, accessed through a walled entrance and fenced by stud railings.

The accommodation includes an entrance hall, sitting room, kitchen/dining room, utility room, bedroom and fully tiled wet room on the ground floor, while there are three more bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs.

The house has a private well, oil-fired central heating and double-glazed windows.

The property is between the N2 and N3 roads and is close to the M3 motorway.

The Hill of Skryne, on which the fam is set, is actually higher than the neighbouring Hill of Tara.
