Sheep trade is focus of ICSA event

The outlook for the sheep trade is the primary focus of a major seminar next week, which will feature speakers from Bord Bia, the British-based National Sheep Association, Kepak and the Associated Craft Butchers of Ireland.
The seminar, hosted by the ICSA, will take place next Monday in the Lord Bagenal Hotel, Leighlinbridge, Co Carlow.
The line-up of speakers includes Andrew Doyle, chairman of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Agriculture; Declan Fennell, sheep specialist, Bord Bia; Bob Cahill, Kepak, Hacketstown; Phil Stocker, National Sheep Association; Liam Handy, Associated Craft Butchers of Ireland; Eric Driver, assistant manager of Tullow Livestock Mart; Catherine O'Leary, veterinary adviser, MSD Animal Health; and Gabriel Gilmartin, ICSA president.
The fee for the seminar is €15 (booked in advance; €20 on the day).
