Community in mourning after farmer (76) dies in livestock incident

A community have been left in mourning after an elderly farmer died last week following a farm accident.

Tom Nolan (76) from Craanford died in an accident involving livestock, according to the Wexford People.

The father-of-four from Clonamona, died in the early hours of Friday morning.

Mr Nolan was rushed to Wexford General Hospital following the incident.

Neighbours, family and friends described him as a "complete gentleman" and highly respected farmer.

He is survived by his wife Mary and four children.

The is the sixth farming fatality in 2017 in Ireland.
