Balsaw is located at Wilkinstown, a short drive from Navan, and is surrounded by some of the best tillage farms in the Royal County.

It would be ideal for a buyer interested in developing an equestrian enterprise or a hobby farmer, according to auctioneer, Stephen Barry.

Organic

The current owners are running an equestrian venture on the farm, but previously the land was farmed as a flourishing beef enterprise. It also has an organic farming license for the past five years.

The land is laid out in four divisions with piped water. The farmyard buildings include four loose horse boxes.

The jewel in the crown of this sale is the residence - a four-bedroomed period house dating back to the 1920s but now fully modernised and updated.

The residence is approached by a tree lined avenue containing some spectacular specimen trees. It is fronted by a gravel driveway and has large lawns at the front and rear.

The auction takes place in Potterson's salesroom on Tuesday July 14 at 3pm.
