Residential Royal parcel expected to turn heads
A residential farm comprising 47ac of good Meath land with extensive farm buildings has come on the market.
Located at Ardcath on the road to Garristown, four miles north of Ashbourne, the farm is being sold at auction by Sherry FitzGerald Lannon of Drogheda.
There is no guide price for the sale. According to auctioneer Declan O'Neill, the lands are extremely well looked after and in great condition with neat hedging, ditches and a water supply.
There is significant road frontage extending to 1.5km with the farm, along with full planning permission to build a two-storey neo-Georgian home on the land.
There is a traditional two-storey farmhouse on the property, along with a farmyard that boasts extensive farm buildings.
These include a four-bay slatted unit, two four-bay concrete feeding lots built in the relatively recent past along with a three-bay haybarn with lean-tos.
There are also modern cattle handling facilities that include a pen and cattle crush along with some older outbuildings.
Mr O'Neill expects a lot of interest in the property given its condition and location.
