Real Royal value on Trim site on offer for €10,000/ac

Once the most expensive farmland in the country, now even tillage land in the Royal County comes with a more realistic price tag.

A 102ac farm located near Trim, which will be offered for sale in lots, is guided at €10,000/ac.

Navan-based Raymond Potterton Auctioneers highly recommend viewing of this property located at Oakstown, Trim, which will be offered for sale by public auction on Monday next, unless it is previously sold.

The auctioneers describe the property as "an exceptionally fine", non-residential farm. It is superbly located just one mile from Trim on the Athboy road.

The lands are intersected by the main road and, according to the agents, are highly fertile and suitable for any agricultural enterprise. The land is laid out in large fields, which are currently in cereal stubble.

The property has around 700m of road frontage and the auctioneers say it could provide one or two exceptionally fine residential sites, subject to the necessary planning permission.

The farm will be offered for lots as follows: lot one, 56ac; lot two, 45ac; and lot three, the entire farm.
