A 130ac farm at Ballymore Eustace in Co Kildare that had been for sale by private treaty is now to be sold in smaller lots by public auction.
The property, which is divided into two blocks in the townsland of Dowdenstown, is being quoted at €10,000/ac by selling agents Knight Frank.
Located 4km north of Ballymore Eustace and 6km south of Naas, the farm is 3km from Punchestown racecourse, while Blessington is approximately 6km away.
The entire holding is currently in grass, with approximately 10ac fronting onto the R411 Naas to Ballymore Eustace road. The remaining 120ac is accessed from a secondary road.
The 120ac portion is laid out in eight divisions and fenced with traditional hedgerow, while the 10ac parcel is in two divisions.
The smaller holding has road frontage onto two roads, with approximately 220m onto the R411 and 260m onto the secondary road to the rear.
Selling agent Evan Lonergan of Knight Frank said the farm would be offered in lots, with lot one consisting of 11ac, lot two comprised of 44ac, lot three extending to 50ac and lot four made up of 25ac. The entire property will be offered at the auction as lot five.
Mr Lonergan believes the various lots will attract a range of buyers from the locality and beyond when the property is brought to auction at the Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge, Co Kildare at 2.30pm on Thursday, October 31.
