Denis Howell of Warren Estates described the holding as a fine block of land situated only five minutes drive from Carnew and Askamore. Laid out in one block, the holding is currently under grass and tillage. It also has decent road frontage and frontage on to the River Mine.

The farmyard is approached from the road via a laneway. An extensive range of facilities includes a five-bay haybarn with a concrete floor, a five-bay slatted unit with a feeding passage, a collecting yard, an outdoor silage pit and a small storage shed.

At auction proceedings opened with a bid of €320,000 and went on the market at €440,000. The hammer eventually fell at €460,000; the buyer was a local farmer.
