Visitors to the Macra na Feirme stand at Ratheniska are being asked to take part in the organisation's 'Make a Million Moves' campaign by jumping on its exercise bike and clocking up some miles.
The bike is part of the 'Feirme Bodies' programme, aimed at improving fitness among its members and friends.
The Macra stand is bigger than ever this year and incorporates a life-size jeep and trailer mock-up aimed at highlighting changes in driving licence categories relating to towing trailers.
Recent changes mean that many drivers who are not licensed to pull a trailer behind their vehicle are not aware they are breaking the law.
Visitors to the stand at Stand 325, Row T, Block 3, will be in with a chance of winning the Macra 'I'm Licensed to Pull!' T-shirt.
Throughout the three days of the Ploughing Championships, Macra members and the FBD Farmskills competition winners will be demonstrating essential farm skills such as fencing and tractor driving.
On Wednesday, the regional winners of the Macra/Forage Systems Silage competition will be announced and on Thursday at 10.30am, the annual Macra Ploughing Class will take place.
County rounds took place all over Ireland in recent months and Thursday's class will see those winners go head to head for a place in the final.
Meanwhile, details of the Macra Gathering, a dog-racing night on November 30, will be announced at the stand today. All members, past and present, are invited to attend.
