Strong local interest is anticipated for 28ac of good-quality grazing land at Coolyhune, Graiguenamanagh, Co Kilkenny.

With a guide price of €200,000, the property is available for close to €7,100/ac. According to selling agent Ed Donohoe, of ERA Donohoe Properties in Kilkenny, the holding is in very good condition with road frontage on to a tertiary road.

It is located two miles from Graiguenamanagh. With planning permission this would make an ideal residential holding for a part-time farmer. It also has tourism potential.

The property will be sold by private treaty.

Meanwhile, Mr Donohoe has a 20ac farm at Brownsbarn, Kilkenny. The holding, which is in one block, is expected to make €450,000. It is currently in permanent pasture.

Mr Donohoe said the land is of "excellent quality", with its own water supply and easy access to the road.

Located three miles from Kilkenny off the Callan road, the property is being offered for sale by private treaty.
