The farm is all in one block and comes with plenty of road frontage on to the main Tuam road. Mr Tyrell describes the farm as one of the best he has had for sale in recent years.

"It is laid out in a nice series of fields and is suitable for all round grazing or tillage," he said.

The property is for sale by private treaty and he currently has an offer of €540,000 on the farm.

Land sales

Mr Tyrell is handling the sale of a 38ac farm in two divisions of 26ac and 12ac respectively at Corbally, Cummer 6.5km from Claregalway and 16km from Galway.

The farm is described and in good heart, well laid out and located in a good farming area.

"I am guiding this at over €8,000/ac," Mr Tyrell said.

"It is a fine farm of ground and in its entirety or in lots it will suit many farmers in the area."

Moving further east towards Kilkerrin, 40km from Galway and 13km from Tuam Mr Tyrell is selling a 51ac residential farm at Monairmore, Kilkerrin.

He is guiding the sale at €440,000 or around €9,000/ac.

The house is a fine two-storey three-bedroom house in excellent condition and comes with a farmyard and a substantial range of farm buildings.

The land is described as good grazing ground with plenty of road frontage.

"The place is a renowned grazing farm," Mr Tyrell said and he expects plenty of interest in the sale.

He added that there has been steady bidding on all three properties since January and as the selling season approaches he expects the three sales to move swiftly towards closing.
