Moloney makes it eight Irish in world's top 100
Eight Irish riders feature in the top 100 of the latest Longines World Showjumping Rankings.
The rankings, which cover competitions during the month of October, show that Ireland's Richie Moloney has joined seven other Irish riders in the top ranks.
Tipperary's Denis Lynch remains highest placed of the Irish at number three, an improvement of one place on the September rankings.
Co Down's Conor Swail is also up one place at 33rd, while another Tipperary rider, Shane Breen, has jumped five places on the table to reach 38th.
Olympic bronze medallist Cian O'Connor rose three places in the rankings to take 49th.
Cork's Shane Sweetnam holds his 54th place, while Wexford's 18-year-old Bertram Allen is in 69th. Mayo's Cameron Hanley jumps up 10 places in this month's table to 74th, while US-based Kilkenny rider Richie Moloney improved by 17 places to enter the top 100 at No 93.
The Longines World Show Jumping rankings measure the performances of over 2,000 international riders each month, and the current leader is Britain's Ben Maher.
