"You can till it, you can graze it, do what you like with it, it's all round good land." This is how auctioneer Frank McGuinness of McGuinness Lambert Property Partners describes the 120ac for sale at Scar, Duncormick, Co Wexford. The land is coming to auction with a guide price of €8,000 to €10,000/ac.

Located two miles from Rathangan village and nine miles from Wexford town, the land is situated in the heart of Wexford tillage country.

It is currently in a mix of cereals and oilseed rape, as well as silage and grazing.

Mr McGuinness says the holding has been well kept and maintained over the years.

"It has been very well farmed," Mr McGuinness said.

The land, which is all in one block, is good, level ground laid out in well proportioned fields varying from six to 10ac. The divisions enjoy good shelter and while there are no buildings on the property there are some cattle handling facilities.

The lands have extensive road frontage and may be offered as an entire or sold in lots at auction. The lots are 26.818ac, 52.832ac and 39.505ac.

The auction is planned for the Whitford House Hotel, Wexford on Thursday, July 5.
