Both lots were bought by local farmers.

The first property to sell was a 15.3ac parcel of land located at Oristown, five miles from Kells and two miles from Wilkinstown. Described as top quality land in old pasture, well fenced and laid out in one field, the property comes with good road frontage and sold for €97,000.

A 10ac piece of ground located at Moy Road, Summerhill, Co Meath, which was part of the lands of Summerhill Demense adjoining the village, also sold.

The land enjoys views over attractive parkland and has 130m of road frontage. This property sold for €80,000.

Meanwhile, at the same auction a 25ac piece at Leggagh, Wilkinstown, Navan, Co Meath was withdrawn. It is understood a sale is under active negotiation with highest bidder. The final bid at the public auction was for €160,000. The parcel of land is an attractive holding laid out in two fields and sheltered by mature hedgerows.
