Cannabis worth around €730k was seized by customs officers after it was discovered concealed in farm machinery.

The seizure came as part of a joint investigation being conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, the Serious Crime Task Force and Revenue’s Customs Service.

He is currently detained at Nenagh Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice ( Drug Trafficking ) Act 1996.
