Given the varying quality of the land and that it is partly located in the village and partly outside it, auctioneer Joseph Coogan is offering it in lots. The guide prices for the land vary from €3,800/ac up to €15,000.

Lot one comprises 17 acres of grazing land at Chapel Lane, Moneenroe. The land is divided into four fields and has extensive road frontage. Given its village location, Mr Coogan says it also has excellent site potential. This is guided at €3,800/ac.

A single-storey detached residence on two acres at The Glen, Moneenroe makes up lot two.

Accommodation includes kitchen, three bedrooms and a bathroom. The land is directly behind the house and is surrounded by the church, graveyard and national school. There are also some stone-built out buildings included in the lot, which is guided at €85,000.

Lot three is a 2.5ac field also at The Glen, Moneenroe, with laneway access to a public road. This is guided at €15,000/ac. Lot four is a combination of lots two and three and lot five is the entire property. The property is located 13 miles from Carlow and Abbeyleix.
