Located 15 minutes from Limerick city on the Kilmallock Road the farm is described by John O'Connell of GVM Limerick as quality ground laid out in manageable, well-watered and fenced divisions. The bungalow on the farm requires renovation as does the yard where a range of sheds includes a cubicle house, a three-column haybarn and a two-column slatted house.

At auction the farm was bid to €430,000 before it was withdrawn. It sold afterwards to a neighbouring farmer.

Mr O'Connell described the eventual sale price as very satisfactory. He said it reflects prices being achieved for good land in the area. GVM Limerick and Matthew Ryan, Tipperary were joint selling agents in the transaction.
