Kverneland hosts farming future event at the hub

The Kilkenny-based Kverneland Group Ireland Ltd is to hold a two-day 'Future of Farming Exhibition' at the Hub, Kilkenny, starting tomorrow.

The firm will showcase the full range of machinery from the Kverneland, Taarup, Accord, Siloking, Vicon and McConnel brands.

There will be a special emphasis on new precision farming technology through Kverneland's recently launched iM Farming brand.

On the tillage side, the new 150S lightweight plough for lighter soils, a new powerharrow-mounted box drill, the MC-Drill PRO and this year's version of Kverneland's Qualidisc cultivator will be on display.

Also on show will be the Kverneland Tarrup range of mowers, feeders, mower-conditioners, rakes, straw shredders and tedders.

Vicon products will be the latest twin disc spreaders and Isomatch Tellus/ Geospread technology.

The McConnel range of hedgecutters and tillage kit will be featured, along with a Robocut remote controlled and self-propelled cutter.

Entry to the event is free, as is entry into a competition to win a 900-litre capacity Vicon RO-C fertiliser spreader worth €3,500 plus VAT.
