Jim OBrien

A 30.1ac parcel of land located at Clorinka, Muckalee, Co Kilkenny is for auction with a guide prince of €6,500/ac.

Located off the N78 some 7km from Castlecomer and 17km from Kilkenny city, the land is in permanent pasture.

It is of mixed quality, with 17ac of good grazing ground, while the rest is of a poorer standard. The holding, which is laid out in four divisions, is located adjacent to the village of Clorinka and comes with extensive road frontage.

According to Carlow auctioneer, James McDermott, of selling agents Sherry FitzGerald McDermott, there is potential for multiple entrances and, with the requisite planning permission, the parcel carries significant site potential.

It is being offered in three lots; lot one consists of 16.5ac, lot two 13.6ac with the entire making up lot three.

The lands will be sold at auction at 3.00pm on Friday, September 2 at the Seven Oaks Hotel, Carlow with a guide price of €195,000 or somewhat less than €6,500/ac.
