Allen Farm Stud is a 54ac non-residential farm with an extensive yard located at Pluckerstown, Kilmeague, Co Kildare is described as an ideal livestock and bloodstock operation. It is for sale by private treaty with a guide price of €425,000.
Situated off the R415 between Newbridge and Milltown the holding is 8km from Rathangan, 10km from Newbridge, 11km from Kildare and 9km from the M7 at Junction 12.
The farm is owned by Fintan Flannelly the well-known breeder and Irish draught judge. After many years at the top of the business he is downsizing his breeding operation.
The stud farm was the home of Silver Granite, the well-known prolific draught stallion and a huge influence on Irish draught breeding.
