The farm is owned by Fintan Flannelly the well-known breeder and Irish draught judge. After many years at the top of the business he is downsizing his breeding operation.

The renowned yard incorporates an extensive range of equestrian and livestock facilities.

These include eight loose boxes, a four-span hay shed with lean-to, a slatted unit for 100 head of stock, a dry shed and a cattle crush.

Pasture

The lands, which are currently all in permanent pasture, are described as suitable for both tillage and grazing. There is no road frontage to the farm and access to the land is provided by a shared laneway.

Auctioneer Paddy Jordan describes Allen Stud as a lovely farm with plenty of potential for people involved in any sector of farming be it equestrian, livestock or tillage.
