Located 5km from Kildare town with access off the Nurney/Athy road, the property is close to the M7 motorway.

Made up of one block of approximately 44ac of agricultural land, the ground is currently in permanent pasture. The residence, which was built in the early 2000s, is a 2,500sqft dormer bungalow with accommodation that includes five bedrooms, three of which have ensuite facilities.

The house is well finished inside and out and accessed by a gravel drive that leads to the door.

According to auctioneer Paddy Jordan, the property would make an excellent small equestrian farm.

The holding is for sale by public auction at 3pm on Monday, July 25, at the Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge, Co Kildare.

Kilcock farm and development land

Staying in Kildare, Eamon O'Flaherty of Property Partners Brady Maynooth, is handling the sale of 27ac of ground at Branganstown, Kilcock.

The farm is guided at €405,000 or €15,000/ac.

Laid out in one field, the holding has extensive frontage on to the Kilcock/Laragh road.

It runs parallel to the canal with the northern part of the farm fronting on to the Dublin to Sligo railway line.

According to agent Mr O'Flaherty, the location of this property should make it a good medium to long term prospect for development as it joins the existing development boundary of the town.

At the time of going to press, Mr O'Flaherty already had a bid in excess of €350,000 on the land.
