Irishman takes reins at Deutz-Fahr UK

Taking the helm as the new chief executive officer at Same Deutz-Fahr UK is Northern Irishman Mark Casement.

Born and raised in Northern Ireland, Mr Casement, who has been involved in the tractor business for more than 20 years, has previously worked for AGCO and more recently the National Farmers' Union in Britain.

He has gained international experience in North America, Western and Eastern Europe, and spent five years in sales and commercial management in Britain and Ireland.

He described his more recent role with the NFU as a job that broadened his outlook of the agricultural industry.

Commenting on his new position, Mr Casement said: "I am really looking forward to working with Same Deutz-Fahr and our dealer network.

"This company has a tractor range which is recognised as being one of the best in the business.

"In addition, SDF has a first-class range of combine harvesters and telehandlers that ensures we can offer a full line of equipment to customers throughout Britain and Ireland.

Mr Casement is married with two children.
