Irish machinery manufacturers sign deals worth €13m in France
Deals worth almost €13m were signed with Irish machinery manufacturers Dromone, Samco and Dairymaster in France yesterday.
The deals came as part of an Enterprise Ireland trade mission to the world's fifth largest economy. The biggest single deal was for €9.7m between the Meath-based Dromone and the AGCO group. Samco signed its first contract with French co-op Cavac to the value of €220,000, to be a sole distributor of Samco machines and degradable plastic film for the Vendee region in western France.
Meanwhile, Dairymaster has teamed up with Genes Diffusion in a move that is expected to yield €3m in parlour sales for the Kerry company.
