Hardi has expanded its Master Pro/ Pro VP ranges of mounted sprayers with increased tank capacities and wider boom widths. Available through Kilkenny importers IAM, the new Hardi Master Plus series are high specification sprayers, geared towards farmers requiring higher capacity-mounted machines with a focus on safe operation.

There are two larger tank capacities available on the new machines of 1,500 litres and 1,800 litres for increased spraying capacity. These have been added to the existing 800-, 1,000- and 1,200-litre capacities.

Sprayer booms on these machines hydraulically fold vertically to a compact size to give good visibility and manoeuvrability in the transport position.

Also on the new machines is a 25-litre TurboFiller, which Hardi says is a high-capacity induction hopper designed to make the filling of chemicals fast and easy.

The TurboFiller features Hardi's unique TurboDeflector to create powerful liquid circulation in the hopper and can mix all types of chemicals including powder quickly and safely. Hardi also claims that a built-in rotating nozzle will clean any chemical container and wash out the whole hopper. A spike on the nozzle penetrates the seal on most chemical containers. Also on the Turbo-Filler, a cleaning pipe is fitted, as standard, with a 1m hose for flushing the hopper or filling liquid into a container.

Available boom sizes have been increased to 24m and are hydraulically folded to the vertical position as mentioned earlier. Hardi says the booms are constructed in steel with a lattice design, optimising weight with the greatest possible strength. An anti-yaw device is incorporated into the boom centre to minimise any movement and ensures precision spray applications, even in challenging field conditions.

All boom functions on the PRO VHZ and VPZ booms can be electro-hydraulically operated from a control console in the tractor's cab.
