Get on board for the Farming Independent's Spring Safety Series
Published 09/03/2016 | 02:30
Have you got a really good idea or innovation that has improved either machinery safety or general farm safety on your farm? Fancy two free tickets to Ireland's main machinery event of 2016?
If so, we want to hear from you as part of our new Spring Safety Series which is set to run over the next few months when the incidence of farm accidents tends to rise sharply.
For every idea that we feature in the Farming Independent, we will send out a pair of complementary tickets to the upcoming FTMTA Grass and Muck 2016 event set to take place in Gurteen Agricultural College on May 12. This is set to be the top farm machinery event of the year and will feature live demonstrations of the latest silage and slurry kit working in realistic Irish conditions.
How to enter
It couldn't be easier to share your idea and make farming that bit safer. If you think you've come up with a way of improving general farm safety or machinery safety and you want to be in with a chance of winning two tickets to FTMTA Grass and Muck 2016, just send a brief synopsis of your farm safety improving idea, along with a couple of good pictures of the idea in action, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Remember to include a name, address and contact number for the person behind the idea so that we can contact you if we feature your entry.
