A residential farm extending to 70ac at Raymondstown in the parish of Dromin, near Kilmallock in Co Limerick, will attract a lot of interest when it comes to the market by private treaty. Auctioneer John Flynn is guiding the sale at €7,000/ac.

According to Mr Flynn the farm contains the finest of east Limerick land, as well as some heavy ground that could do with attention.

It has been let for a number of years and with some work it could be turned into a fine farm, Mr Flynn says.

The farm is located four miles from the town of Kilmallock, on the Athlacca road.

The holding comes with an old-type farmyard, with haybarn and lean-to accommodation.

A relatively new haybarn is the best of the buildings. The residence on the property is an old single-storey farmhouse in need of extensive refurbishment.
