Fine land on Burren edge

The land on the southern shores of Galway Bay is regarded as Burren country; beautiful but barren. However, between the Burren and the shore line there are many good acres of fine farmland, the hinterland of towns and villages like Kinvara and Ballinderreen are testament to this.

Austin McInerney of Joseph McInerney auctioneers, Gort, is selling a lovely 33ac non-residential farm on the outskirts of Ballinderreen. Described as good grazing land and fine meadowing, the property comes with a guide price of €250,000, or €7,000/ac. The fields are well fenced with traditional stone walls and there is a water supply throughout delivered by piped water.
