Experts debate bioenergy role

The Irish Bioenergy Association (IrBEA) is highlighting the role that bioenergy can play in Ireland's economic recovery at their 10th annual national conference, which is being held in the Heritage Hotel, Portlaoise, Co Laois this Thursday.
It is estimated that up to 13,000 new jobs could be created by the sector by the end of the decade, while also delivering massive fuel cost savings.
The theme of the conference is 'Bioenergy -- Delivering for the Irish Economy. '.
