Dutch dairy firm cuts milk intake

Dutch dairy FrieslandCampina has offered dairy farmers a premium payment to temporarily curtail any growth in milk supplies.

The move was made amid concerns that the growth in supply was expected to be higher than forecasted in the coming weeks. Friesland Campina had raised concerns it would have insufficient processing capacity until mid-February.
