Dublin land to create a stir

Published 21/10/2015 | 02:30

There hasn't been much Dublin land on the market this year so the sale of 57.8ac of North Dublin tillage land at Ballyboughal should create a stir. The holding comes to auction with a guide price of €12,500/ac.

Located at Gracedieu, Roscall Cross, Ballyboughal the farm is currently under a tillage crop that is due to be harvested prior to closing. The land is described by John Cumisky of selling agents REA Cumisky as the best of ground with a good farmyard and road frontage on to two roads adjacent to Roscall Cross.

"I expect strong local interest in this parcel," said Mr Cumisky. "It is convenient for a lot of local farmers and on the day I'm hoping the auction will produce a strong result."

The auction takes place tomorrow, Wednesday, October 21 at 4pm at the Bracken Court Hotel, Ballbriggan.
