The forest machinery demonstration circuit will guide visitors past a large number of sites, where equipment is operating in the forest under conditions similar to those that are normally encountered during the working day.
John Deere will be exhibiting harvesters, harvester heads and forwarders. Kevin Broderick Ltd will be operating Vandaele chippers, Eliet shredders, JCB utility vehicles and Iseki tractors and mowers. Kiln Dried Hardwoods is setting up a mobile bandsaw to demonstrate both the saw's capabilities and details of the kiln-dried sawn hardwood timber. Komatsu Forest will be operating both harvesters and thinning machinery.
M Large Tree Services, UK and Ireland, is exhibiting Haaki Pilke firewood processors, Thor log splitters, the LMS sawmill and woodbuster, and the Palms forwarding trailer and crane along with the Bilke processor featured in the Farming Independent a few months ago. Welmac UK Ltd will also be in operation with a TR70 branch logger and a Danequip stump grinder. PJ Callan is bringing the full range of Palax firewood processors, wood splitters and wood chippers, and will also be demonstrating the latest addition to the Binderberger processor range, the 520, along with Binderberger splitters and other smaller processing machinery.
Throughout the trade sections, there will also be a wide range of chainsaws, climbing equipment, pruning saws, safety clothing and other gear for working in the woods.
