Crossmolina land 'ideal for all types of buyers'

A 10ac field on the edge of the Mayo town of Crossmolina is for sale by private treaty with a guide price of €150,000.

Originally earmarked as a site for a hotel, the land is now back on the market as agricultural ground or as a potential site for development.

Located at Knockglass, just 2km from the town of Crossmolina and 10km from Ballina, the property has excellent road frontage and is adjacent to all services.

Helen Feeney, of Sherry FitzGerald Feeney West, believes that the price is right for this size of property.

"Smaller parcels of land like this are selling well and I believe that we will have a range of customers for this parcel of land, from farmers to the person who wants a house and a few acres near a good local town," she said.
