The property, which is the subject of a receiver sale, is located 1.5km from Rathcoole, 3.4km from Saggart, 4.5km from Citywest and 23.5km from the city centre. It consists of an unfinished residence, with space for a swimming pool, a farmyard and 10.8ac of grazing land. Described by Pat O'Hagan of Savills as a place with loads of potential yet requiring quite some investment to realise that potential.

The unfinished residence is an over basement construction. The basement itself contains the makings of a plant room, a home cinema and a games room. On the ground floor the spaces include an entrance hall, a study, living room, a dining/family area, a kitchen space, an ensuite bedroom, a playroom, snug, utility room, cloakroom and the planned swimming pool.

The first floor has space for five bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and dressing rooms and a family bathroom.

The structure is completed to first and second fixing but has been vacant for a long time with the result that a certain amount of damage has been caused to the outside and the interior.

Mr O'Hagan is anxious to point out that there are no fittings left in the kitchen or the bathrooms.

Outside there are stunning views of the Dublin Mountains and over Dublin city. Outhouses on the property are comprised of six bay stables and a double garage.

The lands are laid out in one field with 3.5ac around the house in mature hedgerow and trees while to the rear of the house is a 7.5ac grass paddock.

The property is attracting lively attention and Mr O'Hagan is expecting an early sale. "Given the location and the potential of the property it is very reasonably priced at €450,000," he said.
