Co Westmeath property sells after auction

A 67ac farm with a derelict residence and farm buildings at Streamstown, Mullingar, was withdrawn from auction at the Greville Arms Hotel, Mullingar, but was subsequently sold.

Situated beside Boher Church and the National School, the property comes with a range of old farm buildings including a derelict house.

The lands are all under grass, with road frontage on to a country road.

According to a spokesman for selling agents Murtagh Brothers, the property was withdrawn from auction at €250,000 and sold immediately afterwards for a higher price. The agents would not be drawn on the sale price.
