Case IH has created a new role within the company for a harvesting sales manager responsible for all of its baler and combine sales in the UK and Ireland.
Richard Beadman, business director for Case IH UK and Ireland, highlighted the need for this new specialist role.
"We've seen strong growth in the harvesting market for Case. This new role will allow us to provide further support to our area sales managers, dealers and customers as we continue this growth," he said.
Chris Armitage (right) takes up the new position, and the company says his experience as an area sales manager and his farming background give him expertise on the company's products and issues facing farmers and contractors.
"Case IH has made significant market gain in recent years, particularly with its Axial Flow combine range, LBX large balers and RBX round balers. We will capitalise on this, working with our dealer network to develop our product range and expand our customer base," Mr Armitage said.
