Tipperary town auctioneer Mark Donovan will be hoping to have plenty of takers for a 39ac residential farm near Pallasgreen in east Limerick.
The farm will be offered in lots or as an entire and comes with a guide price of €8,000/ac.
Located at Ballytrasna, one mile from Old Pallas, Pallasgreen, the land is divided by a cul-de-sac which gives the farm substantial road frontage.
The ground is described by Mr Donovan as excellent quality land that was well looked after by the previous owner, who is now deceased, and well minded by the subsequent tenants.
The house, a three-bedroom bungalow built in the late 1970s, has been unoccupied for 10 years or so and while structurally sound needs complete renovation.
In terms of outbuildings, the farmyard includes a range of older style farm sheds.
The road divides the holding into two divisions, with the residence and 25.25ac on one side, and 13.85ac on the other.
The residence may be sold on a 0.75ac site or with the 25.25ac. The 13.85ac will be offered as a separate lot.
The farm will be sold at auction at the offices of Donovan Auctioneers, Davis Street, Tipperary, at 3pm this Thursday, April 4.
