BHS stage exam help

A series of training workshops for the British Horse Society (BHS) stage examinations are to take place at Ballylanigan House, Mullinahone, Co Tipperary.

Places are limited to eight people per workshop and cost €60 per person, including refreshments.

Workshop dates include January 15 (Stage 1), January 29 (Stage 2), February 12 (Stage 3), February 19 and March 5 (Stage 2 & 3 lungeing) and March 12 (PTT).

A green clinic

Eventing Ireland's northwestern region is to host a Lucinda Green cross-country clinic on March 24.

Taking place at Sally Corscadden's Grange Farm, Kilcock, Co Kildare, the clinic participants will be taught in small groups, arranged according to experience.

Olympic effort

Tattersalls Ireland has announced the final line up of classes to run at the Tattersalls International Horse Trials which take place May 26-29 2011.

As well as the recently announced new CCI3* class, they will run a CIC3* class to help riders achieve the qualifications needed for the 2012 Olympics.
