An attractive parcel of prime cattle finishing land in Collinstown, Co Westmeath goes to auction in an executor's sale on July 3 next with a guide price of €300,000.
The 39ac of meadow is fully serviced and can be accessed by two entrances. It is a short drive from both Castlepollard and Mullingar.
An additional six-acre lot at the same location will also go under the hammer.
The guide price for this parcel is €7,000/ac, which is the average land price in the area.
The auction is being conducted by Davitt and Davitt at the Pollard Arms hotel in Castlepollard at 3pm.
Meanwhile auctioneer Pat O'Hagan of Savills has two interesting land parcels in south east Wexford on his private treaty sales list.
The first is a 12ac block of tillage land laid out in three fields at Tomhaggard which is located 12kms from Rosslare Strand.
It is bounded by mature trees and hedgerows.
Most of the land has been under barley with the remainder used for permanent pasture.
The larger field has access onto the R736 the main road in the south Wexford coastal region.
The remaining 3.5 acre block is used mainly for rough grazing.
The same auctioneers also have a further block of 10.5ac laid out in four fields - also in the Tomhaggard area.
The land is in permanent pasture and the auctioneers feel it is a well-laid out plot.
