The property is located 3km from Tinahely just off the Ballinglen road and is described by auctioneer David Quinn as a good grass farm with the benefit of some hill rights.

The dwelling is a traditional single storey farmhouse in need of substantial refurbishment.

It stands in a farmyard with a mix of traditional sheds and byres along with a modern two-span lean-to shed and another modern shed.

The house and yards are coming to auction with a guide price of €60,000.

Grazing

A 20ac portion of the farm that can be bought as another lot is made up of 10ac of good grazing ground and 10ac of bog comes with two hill rights. This is guided at €120,000.

A third lot consisting of a 4.5ac field in grass is guided at between €35,000 and €40,000.


The final lot is made up of 21ac of grass in three fields and guided at between €120,000 and €160,000.

The property will be sold at auction at the Carnew offices of Quinn Property on Friday, March 10 at 3pm.
