A little help from Daniel

Patrick Feeney, back with a new original song, 'Soldier On', credits Daniel O'Donnell with giving him a leg up the showbiz ladder when he was first starting out.
The country star and cattle farmer from Culfadda, Co Sligo, first sang with Daniel at a show in Castlebar before he turned professional.
"I was 18 when I went to see him in concert," Patrick recalls.
"Daniel knew I was a singer and he invited me to sing with him that night, which was a great thrill."
That summer Daniel had his own show on RTÉ and he then invited Feeney as one of his special guests.
"It was my first TV appearance and it helped me to get my name out there.
"I will always remember the support I got from Daniel at a time when I really needed it," Patrick says. "He's just a great guy."
