In one of the earlier auctions of the New Year a 25ac parcel of land, located in Tonevane, Blennerville, Tralee, Co Kerry, will be offered for sale next week with a guide price of €375,000 or €15,000/ac.
The land is all in one block and described by Eamon McQuinn of McQuinn Property Services as top quality, free draining, well sheltered, limestone land, with no waste.
It is divided into a few fields fenced with whitethorn hedgerows and has two different access points from the public road.
The land is suited to a wide range of enterprises and given its proximity to Tralee it should have considerable commercial value.
Located on the verge of Blennerville village, the holding is within walking distance of Tralee town and fronts onto the N86 road to Dingle.
According to Mr McQuinn, there is lively interest in the property from both farmers and non-farmers alike.
He points out that quality land parcels located close to Tralee town rarely come on the market and tend to make above average prices. The property is due to go under the hammer in the Grand Hotel, Tralee, on January 15 at 3pm.
