Virgin Atlantic today announced that it would be reducing its passenger fuel charges with effect from midnight tonight.
A statement says, "The reduction follows the recent, sustained decrease in the price of crude oil.
"The charges will be cut by up to £13 per sector depending on the destination and class of cabin. Economy passengers will pay £10 less on shorter sectors and £13 less on longer sectors; Premium Economy passengers will pay £5 less on shorter sectors and £6.50 less on longer sectors."
