Britvic, the maker of Club, 7up and Robinson’s fruit drinks, said full-year profit rose 47.2pc after sales advanced.
Net income for the year ended September 27 climbed to £46.8m (€52m) from £31.8m a year earlier, the company said today in a regulatory statement. Revenue climbed 5.6pc to £978.8m. Britvic proposed a final dividend of 10.9 pence per share.
“Recent conditions in the GB soft drink market have shown some signs of improvement, although visibility in both GB and Ireland beyond the short term remains limited and we take a cautious view of consumer spending,” Chief Executive Officer Paul Moody said in the statement.
Britvic grew “market share and revenue across all key categories” in the last year, the company said today. Ireland’s soft drink market “shows no indication of a return to growth in the short term,” the drink maker also said.
