The British Institute of Facilities Management Ireland will hold its inaugural 'Facilities Management Summit' in Dublin's Aviva Stadium on November 20. The sector is one of the fastest-growing sectors in Ireland, with an annual turnover of over €10bn, and 93,000 employees.
Facilities managers are responsible for all parts of an organisation outside of its core remit, including catering, cleaning, building maintenance, environmental services, security and reception. The summit is designed to provide a forum for sharing ideas and enabling professionals to spur their respective organisations to greater success through strategic facilities management.
The aim is to enable business owners and managers to better understand how strategic facilities management can unleash productivity and enable the core business operations, as well as save money.
