Construction firm CRH has revised its earnings projections for the first half of its financial year thanks to strong trading towards the end of the period.
The company had originally envisaged total group earnings before interest tax depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) to be nearing €1bn.
However, in a statement released to shareholders this morning the company expects that number to be €100m greater, with EBITDA in the period expected to reach €1.1bn.
