Starbucks likes the look of Sutton Cross

Starbucks is reported to be taking over the existing cafe in Sutton Cross retail centre, the retail parade opposite the entrance to the Supervalu at the junction on the way to Howth..

The unit which currently trades as Coffeys extends to 1,500 sq ft and it is understood that they have agreed a rent of €50,000 per annum for the unit.

Other traders in the parade include Choice ladies boutique, Joseph Kramer Hair, Post Office and Book Haven.

Mervyn Ellis of BNP Paribas Real Estate advised the landlord in the transaction.

Starbucks has been especially aggressive in taking up new space in Dublin over the last few months.

The coffee giant has addded outlets on North Earl Street and O'Connell Street in the city centre among several others.
