The 13 remaining acres of the Temple Mills residential development site in Rathangan, Co. Kildare, will be offered for sale by tender on October 12 next. Liam Hargaden of Jordan Auctioneers is guiding a price of €2.3m for the site, which has full planning permission for the development of 99 houses.

Planning Permission for the new units - a mix of three- and four-bedroom units ranging in size from 102.8 sq m (1,106 sq ft) to 140 sq m (1,507 sq ft) -was granted by Kildare County Council and may be inspected using the planning reference 16/955. There are 50 houses already constructed on site.

Temple Mills is just a short walk from the Main Street between the R401 (Edenderry/Clonbullogue Road) and R419 (Bracknagh Road). The area is mainly residential in nature and is well served by shops, a church, schools, and pubs. The towns of Kildare, Newbridge and Naas are all within a short drive.
