The final phase in the transformation of the former Burlington Hotel has been completed with new frontage added to the DoubleTree by Hilton Dublin - Burlington Road.
An estimated 770 square metres of cladding has "given the property an exterior face-lift" and completes a total €17m investment, bringing it in line with the DoubleTree brand globally.
General manager David Monks commented: "We've had an inside out face-lift but have taken away none of the old character for which this property has long been known for and loved. Guests will notice the paved entrance complete with the feature roundabout; the brand new cladding that adorns the front exterior of the hotel; a wood panelled lobby with mood lighting; an upgrade of all 501 bedrooms and enhanced conference facilities with 18 state-of-the-art conferences suites and meeting rooms.
"This year is shaping up to be to be a very strong year and I believe that is due in no small part to the rebranding and renovation of the hotel, which has brought it to a new level.
"The DoubleTree by Hilton brand achieves strong levels of recognition across the globe and we are welcoming thousands of regular and new guests to the hotel, every week.
"Whilst the market is experiencing an up-lift across the board, differentiation is key. We offer an unrivalled loyalty programme for guests with Hilton "HHonors" and the property stands out," he added.
